Join Adrian Klein and Zack Schnepf in the Oceanside area of the Oregon Coast. This portion of the coast, offers the range of amazing opportunities you might expect on the rugged and photogenic Oregon Coastline. We will visit a beach that is normally only accessible through a short tunnel, with sea stacks on the other side. Another includes large sandstone walls, chiseled rocks, and a sand dune await us when we head south. In spring, we should see one or two waterfalls flowing directly onto one of the beaches, heading straight into the ocean.
These dates were selected in part to offer a couple of opportunities with lower tides, which can provide a chance to find treasures to photograph ranging from interesting sand patterns to tide pools. We are based in Tillamook to be more centrally located and due to limited lodging options in the places we are photographing.
Most locations are fairly flat with short distances (< 1 mile) yet could have one location up to a couple miles and a few hundred feet elevation. Walking/hiking will be required. Locations will have paths or stairs to beaches, including one that has quite a few steps. You should be comfortable walking over varying terrain, including soft sand, carrying your own gear.
A chance to photograph a variety of scenes and subjects throughout the workshop.
We are here to help you throughout the weekend, whether you have just a couple questions or many.
A chance to share photos each day in a small group setting to get feedback in a safe and open space.
Processing overview can range from real time processing demos, presented processing tips, or showing the steps taken on existing work.
These can range on a variety of topics and typically there are a couple during each workshop.
A chance to have fun and enjoy being around other photographers from being in the field to meals and traveling together. I regularly hear good feedback about this.

Lodging is not included. We will provide suggested lodging that we use and where we will meet to start field sessions.
Participants are responsible for meals. We will have optional meal gatherings scheduled for the group throughout the workshop. This is a great way to interact with fellow participants.
