About your trip
Join Adrian Klein and David Cobb in Coos Bay, Oregon where you will be getting a photographic taste of pretty much all things you can experience on the coast. Unique rock formations, large sand dunes, sea stacks, waterfalls, and even a harbor. If you are looking for an eclectic mix that you will give you differing subjects and views this workshop is it. Whether you like the wider landscape view or closer up small scenes or even abstracts, you will find them throughout our planned itinerary.

Multiple Field Locations
A chance to photograph a variety of scenes and subjects throughout the workshop.
Guidance and Instruction
We are here to help you throughout the weekend, whether you have just a couple questions or many.
Group Image Reviews
A chance to share photos each day in a small group setting to get feedback in a safe and open space.
Processing
Processing overview can range from real time processing demos, presented processing tips, or showing the steps taken on existing work.
Presentations
These can range on a variety of topics and typically there are a couple during each workshop.
Peer Interaction
A chance to have fun and enjoy being around other photographers from being in the field to meals and traveling together. I regularly hear good feedback about this.
What's not included
Transportation
Participants are responsible for transportation. Car-pooling encouraged. All paved roads.
Lodging
Lodging is not included. We will provide suggested lodging that we use and where we will meet to start field sessions.
Meals
Participants are responsible for meals. We will have optional meal gatherings scheduled for the group throughout the workshop. This is a great way to interact with fellow participants.
Travel Insurance
Always suggested if you have concerns about getting a refund should the trip be cancelled, or you need to cancel.
Day 1 to 4
Photographing the Southern Central Oregon Coast
This long weekend workshop starts on Friday evening and ends Monday morning. It will be a combination of presentation, image review, processing, and field outings. It usually consists of up to 3 presentation/processing/image review sessions and up to 5 field sessions, along with no-host optional breakfast and dinner options Saturday through Monday. The exact balance and timing of each are subject to change based on current conditions for each workshop. Specific itineraries are not shared in advance.
